Hubble Photographs Grand Design Spiral Galaxy M81

Hubble Space Telescope has taken the sharpest image to date of spiral galaxy M81, showing details like individual bright stars. This image was created from data obtained with HST’s ACS camera between 2004 and 2006. This is a color composite of images taken in blue, visible and infrared light.
